Pelvic Health Mentorship Program
Learn. Grow. Strengthen
Your Clinical Confidence.
Whether you are a practicing provider, new to pelvic health, or a student exploring the specialty, our mentorship program offers personalized guidance to help expand your clinical knowledge, confidence, and hands-on skills.
At Gulf Coast Pelvic Health & Wellness Center, mentorship is designed to bridge the gap between education and real-world practice. Learn alongside experienced pelvic health physical therapists in a collaborative clinical environment focused on evidence-based care, clinical reasoning, patient communication, and hands-on learning.
Virtual and in-person mentorship opportunities are available and tailored to your goals, experience level, and areas of interest.

Who Our Mentorship Program Supports
Our mentorship opportunities are designed for:
-
Pelvic health physical therapists
-
Physical therapist assistants (PTAs)
-
Occupational therapists & OTAs
-
Physical therapy and occupational therapy students
-
Undergraduate or high school students exploring healthcare careers
Whether you are building confidence in pelvic health treatment, refining advanced clinical skills, or exploring the profession for the first time, mentorship is tailored to meet you where you are and support your growth.
Our in-person pelvic health mentorship program is designed for pelvic health physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, and students seeking to strengthen clinical skills and deepen their understanding of pelvic health evaluation and treatment.
Participants spend 4–8 hours observing experienced pelvic health physical therapists as they evaluate and treat both common and complex pelvic floor conditions in a real clinical setting. This immersive experience provides valuable insight into clinical reasoning, patient communication, treatment progression, and evidence-informed pelvic health care.
When scheduling allows, learners may also participate in one-on-one mentorship discussions with a physical therapist to review clinical questions, patient presentations, and treatment considerations.
While participants observe patient care and treatment approaches, hands-on treatment of patients is not permitted due to liability requirements.
